Research project: "Preference learning technique for recommender systems (PLATFORMS)"

 Previous element Next element

The overall goal of this project is to develop a unified framework for representing and reasoning on user preferences in recommender systems.

  1. To develop techniques to exploit pair-wise comparison (i.e., user A prefers X to Y) for generating a user preference model.
  2. To learn a group preference model of a group and support group decision making.
